Boundaries for Individuals: The Essay — 14 Comments

  1. Al,
I found this very helpful, seeing more clearly I need to understand my boundaries discomforts are mostly from not having a sufficiently clear view of what I do and do not want. Often, I have wanted a different result, meaning I wanted the other person to change or conform to how I wanted them to treat me or some such nonsense. I hope to get a better working understanding of how I can be more functional with boundaries and learn those skills in practical application.
Now, it is a process of looking back and learning from many past mistakes. It would be a wonderful change to have a good understanding of boundaries, both personal and with a partner, and meet someone with whom it would be a new dynamic. That would be awesome.
    Thanks,
    Dave Anderson
